Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt aka BS with intent to scare.
I am a member of the human race. All relevant information is to be found in my passport. And except when there is good reason for suspecting me of some crime, I will refuse to submit to police interrogation, on the grounds that any such interrogation is an intolerable nuisance. And life being as short as it is, a waste of time. Any infringement on my privacy, or interference with my liberty, any assault, however petty, against my dignity as a human being, will be rigorously prosecuted-Orson W.

If you are unsure what any acronyms mean check out the CALGUNS ACRONYM LIST.
You think you know, but you have no idea.

          Here's a good read about FUD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear,_u...inty_and_doubt
Those that call the US Constitution a living, breathing document only want to asphyxiate liberty.

What it is NOT, however, is appropriate when someone is just wrong.

"The sun rose in the West today" is false to fact - just wrong, but not FUD.

"The sun rose in the West today! The earth is reversing its spin! - buy my emergency supplies, it's your only chance or we're all gonna die!" - that's FUD.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

+1. I hate when someone throws out the when someone is just mistaken and not intentionally spreading misinformation through fear mongering.
