Marlin Lever Action

I am hopeing someone here maybe a cowboy action shooter knows of a gunsmith in the SF bay area who does a good job on smoothing actions and triggers on a Marlin Lever Action.

Going to start my DROS on a 45/70XLR tomorrow. I'll be following the recommendations on the Marauder's Old West page to tune it up.

Congrats on your upcoming purchase. Why not the GS?

I want the pistol grip laminate stock. Also, I do plan to cut the barrel down to 20", not quite GG length, but close. Other plans include ghostring sights and scout mount from XS, Leupold scout scope & QR rings, & a larger loop lever custom by me.

We'll see how long all that takes me, ha ha ha ha

Make sure you bring your Gun Safety Card I do not patronize that place anymore after a very bad experience with his staff and Frank himself. Jackson Arms Shooting Range also have a gunsmith.
