Fort Knox pistol box

I bought a Fort Knox table top pistol safe and I really like it. I thought about getting a V-Line but they are smaller (very short) and cost about as much as this USA made 24lb monster. I paid $139 + $16.62 for shipping. Arrived in about two days.
$139 was a close-out price so I guess its been discontinued. Maybe they will make a new model, maybe their going to outsource it, I don't know but if you've ever thought about getting one nows the time.
I mounted it to a heavy dresser and its plenty big enough for a Ruger SP-101 (3" barrel), G2 flashlight, and a speed loader. Has a mechanical simplex lock so its EMP hardened!

Looks like a decent price.

Question: what kind of holes does it have to bolt secure it? Online didn't seem to show how that was laid out. What do you think about the security of the lock and bolt on it?

It has four holes in the bottom with rubber plugs in them in case you just want to have it sit on something and not scratch it up. I used 5/16x3/4 wood screws+washers. Hated to drill holes into the top of a fairly nice dresser but it worked out nice.
Its very thick steel with a silvery/grey hammer tone finnish. Has a strut rod inside to help open the box/keep it open.
The lock bolt is rather small (about 3/8 + or -) and catches on the inside lip of the lid. Not impossible to open but it would take a lot of tools and effort.
If I was going to be out of the house for more than about 36 hours I'd put anything inside it in my main Cannon gun safe. This thing is more than enough to keep out kids and most others. Even has DOJ stamp of appoval! For what thats worth.
