    .22 LR Ammo in SoCal

I've been buying Federal Bulk 550 count boxes at Walmart for just under $19. The problem is that they run out and don't restock right away. When looking online I see it at around $22-$25 for the same thing plus around $10 shipping. Really makes it not worth it to buy online. Seems like the price is still high online because of lack of product, because they can.

So does anybody know websites that either have a reasonable price including the shipping or know of particular Walmarts in SoCal or other stores that have it in stock on a regular basis?

I'm not stuck on the Federal but it works good for me. Other brands are fine as long as they are fairly reliable.

Another question, everybody always talks about CCI mini mags. I never see it. I see regular CCI bulk online sometimes. Is there a difference between CCI Blazer, bulk, mini mag, etc.?

For plinking and pissing around, I use Armscorp and Winchester bulk, because my local Turners (Reseda) always has some in stock. Both tend to be in the neighborhood of $20 for 500 rounds (plus or minus a few bucks).

In fact, the days of empty shelves seem to be over.

Just buy a few cases at Walmart. That way, you don't have to go buy a box every time you go shooting.

Turners WC today had limited supplies, best was the Federal 525 for around $22+.
            WM in Monrovia, nothing.
WM Supercenter in Baldwin Park does not sell ammo.

I will be calling around Tomorrow

A little out of the way, I know...but just for your info, I've never failed to find 550 bulk packs of either the Federal or the Remington .22lr at the La Habra WM.

If you are ever in Orange County the Huntington Beach Wal*Mart always seems to have the Federal bulk packs in stock when I go looking for them. Last time I was in they even had CCI mini-mags. Maybe I will go to the range this afternoon and buy some more.
