    According to David Rittgers of National Review, strict gun-control policies have failed to deliver on their essential promise: that denying law-abiding citizens access to the means of self-defense will somehow make them safer.

      Yes, good information. I wish Kalifornia would lighten up on the home owners when defending themselves. I heard that Oregon has some sort of "threshold law'. If the bad guy is in the house you may defend yourself, no charges. The exception: a man came home, found a person in the house, went to get his rifle and shot him. He was supposed to hold them until the Police got there. He did time.
