HOUSTON -- The son of a deputy shot a home invasion suspect in northwest Harris County, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday
Deputies were called to the home in the 2600 block of Royal Place Court near Royal Village Road shortly before 4 p.m.
An official with the Harris County Precinct One Constable's Office said two men tried to break into the home of one of their deputy
constables. The officer's 15-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter were inside. The son grabbed a rifle and fired, shooting
one of the suspects, officials said. Both men fled, but one turned up a short time later at Tomball Regional Hospital with a
gunshot wound, deputies said. His condition was not released.

Sorry if it's a re. Didn't see it elsewhere.
