HCSO: Deputy's Teenage Son Shoots Robbery Suspect

HOUSTON -- The son of a deputy shot a home invasion suspect in northwest Harris County, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday
Deputies were called to the home in the 2600 block of Royal Place Court near Royal Village Road shortly before 4 p.m.
An official with the Harris County Precinct One Constable's Office said two men tried to break into the home of one of their deputy
constables.The officer's 15-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter were inside.The son grabbed a rifle and fired, shooting
one of the suspects, officials said. Both men fled, but one turned up a short time later at Tomball Regional Hospital with a
gunshot wound, deputies said.His condition was not released.
