    So quick question guys. If I was going to move, would I have to notify doj since handguns are registered? What about registered aw's such as 50 Cal's

      You do not have to notify CA DOJ.
      Handguns and RAWs = no requirement to notify.


      If you have a Dangerous Weapons Permit (DD, MG, SBR, SBS), then you are required to notify CA DOJ BOF.
