Took the gf shooting for the first time

What a fun experience this was. Shot a 9mm and a 22lr (some kind of an evil looking rifle (ruger?) with a drum-type magazine, no idea on the name). She started off shaky (she was anti-gun because her dad had been pro-gun, makes no sense, but there you go). After shooting, resting, shooting, she finally went to town on the target with the 22 and kicked major ***, even compensated for a canted sight to really destroy that zombie!

As we were leaving, she was asking me when we could go again, but this time with the AK and PSL.

So for all you guys with anti-gun significant others, there's always hope! (it certainly helped that the range had a lot of women today, especially small ones like her)

Congrats! I've taken my gf shooting a few times and she loves it, especially glock 19's. I brought a (very anti gun) female friend of mine to the range before and she loved it .

Of course, but I wouldn't put any of them up to preserve her privacy.

At one point we decided to aim at certain parts of the target, such as head, eyes, and even the genital area. Let's just say her performance, especially in the latter area, was too good.

Wait, over 2700 posts and you can't ID a .22lr rifle? Hmm...

No, because I never shot 22 before and I'm not a walking rifle encyclopedia/catalog.

Understandable but at least make an educated guess ...I wasn't there but I'll guess it was a 10/22 with an archangle or tapco ar stock :P

He did make a guess....a Ruger. Could be right. Personally, I just look at the weapon and read because I'm not a good guesser. Didn't he handle the rifle?

I can't remember everything I have to do, but I can remember more things than I have time to do.

I believe it was a Ruger 10/22, but I don't like to say things unless I know 100% that I'm right. In this case, I don't.
