Do you keep a log book?

Ever since a precision rifle class, I've been keeping a log book. I've found that book has been really usefuly for highpower, bullseye and silhouette. My book is really small measures 2"x3-4", each normal range trip usually generate 1 line of entry. I'm amazed that I've not yet lost that book over the years.

Mine is an Excel spreadsheet, I just tear the tab off the boxes I shoot and enter the info when I get home.

Are you better off than you were four years ago?

Many moons ago, yes. Now, it's more fun to look back at match results in a big, dusty binder.

I was taught to keep a log book years ago and have ever since. I occassionally teach marksmanship and precision riflery and one thing I drill home to my students is the improtance of a log book. However I am also dismayed to see that people rarely keep one beyond possibly a round count for their barrel,
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.
