Saw an article in the paper this a.m. that a bill is moving through the State senate to mandate instant background checks for all handgun ammunition purchasers and to prohibit internet sales of handgun ammunition. The senate sponser acknowledged that implementing this type of program would be very costly and difficult but the wild west situation that exists in California now has to be stopped (or words to that effect). Read it in the Valley based "Daily News".

Actually this might be a great idea... someone can illegally bring in ammunition from outside the state or manufacturer it himself and make TONS OF MONEY... and then use it to finance other endeavors...
Like drug dealing!
That'd be kind of weird though... buying cheaper ammo from drug dealers.

Why do people think banning anything will work? We banned drugs, yet i bet everyone knows which part of town you could find some.
