Doesn't even LOOK like an ak, looks like a completely new 308 rifle.

It says that the receiver has palstic dust covers and that it has the same reliable design.... I called the shop they said the action looks of that of any other saiga.




Don't bother buying the rifle from Stanley's Pro Shop at this exact moment... they won't ship any Saigas due to fear of being harassed from the CA DOJ

The RAA site mentions "the receiver is closed with plastic housing" and it looks to me like they wrapped the receiver in plastic for some reason. I just wish they would do one in x54R. But with more than a 3rd mag capacity.

Eh, I've held Saiga 308's, and they look to me like slightly modified standard RPK receivers. Almost enough so to tempt me to try and build a 308 RPK out of one.

Thats basically what they are.

I think this new .308 is cosmetically pleasing myself, even if it is just plastic covers.

No 54r for some reason, but they do have one model in 30-06. Boom boom
