Dont know which gun to buy.

I'm planning for my next buy, but Ive reached an impasse. Its either going to be another 1911 (RIA tactical) or Saiga 5.45 and convert it.

I already have a few of each (AK's and 1911's), and I want more, but right now I can only get one or the other. figured why not ask all yall what you would get.

So which would you get and why?

I agree. Why do you want another of the same gun? I rather spend money on ammo or get a whole different gun. I simply don't see the fascination of saying yeah I got 6 ARs and 8 AKs.

And having multiples of the same gun is like doing it missionary style for the rest of your life . BORING I personally dont have one gun that is the same. I guess the closest I come to that is I have a Ruger P90 and a P85. Look the same but different calibers. And Im selling the 45 cause i dont shoot it

You know Ive shot them all and I always come back to 1911's. I have a glock and an XD and Im trying to sell one and thinking of selling the other to get-you guessed it-more 1911's and AK's.
Ive had M16's/M4's (issued), and I have plenty of milsurps. To me 1911 and AK are perfect in all their various configurations.

Besides you have to have an AK in wood, one in polymer, one with a FGB/SB, one with a skeleton stock, AK pistol, etc...same for the ol' 1911.

Why not check out all the guns you think you are interested in. Handle them, fondle them, and then pick the top two or three within your price range and find a gun range where you can rent them and test fire them to see which gives you the best thrill for the bang/buck. You would test ride a new car so why not test ride the guns that feel comfortable to you? I would rather spend time up front checking them out knowing the gun I eventually buy is going to be with me a while rather than buying something quickly, not liking it and having to sell it and go through a dozen guns like that before I stumbled across one I liked. That can be expensive as if guns don't get pricey as it is. Buy what makes you feel good and feels good to you. Good luck

Screw it. Get a nice milled AK....or a Colt
