If the firearm is configured properly, it is legal in Cali. Find another FFL. -
I did call another , PRK. They said that they dont do transfers on guns that they stock.
Saiga 12
PRK- 699+tax and dros
DDs-539+ transfer is what, 70-100 bucks
We all want to support our Cali. stores, but give us a break.Comment

find another one, PRK wont transfer guns they have in stock lol wth aren't they the same guys who did the ak pistol group buy that took years ?
489.00 shipped + 30 CA compliance fee + 75 your FFL transfer fee = 594 out the door
give peach state a call and find another FFL even if you have to travel a bitComment

See if they'll price match, offer cash. I hear it works pretty well.sigpic

Fixed it for you. You won't save much if at all. If you do, it might not even be 20 bucks. If you get it in the store, you won't have to deal with shipping, sending money through the mail, getting your FFL to send the license, etc.
You are supposed to pay tax on your purchase whether it is shipped from out of state or not.Expert firearms attorney: https://www.rwslaw.com/team/adam-j-richards/

The FFL fee will vary. its not a set price like the PPT. Turners is 125$ i believe. Eventually FFLs will all raise their prices
yeah but eventually they will figure it out and start charging it.Comment

without doing any research, I'm going to assume that PRK price includes one of their mag locks along with everything else. Does the price from DD include a mag lock? Can you handle it first and choose to or not to buy that exact one? Etc. Also, sometimes you need to support your brick and mortar stores. HMM not quite.Fixed it for you. You won't save much if at all. If you do, it might not even be 20 bucks. If you get it in the store, you won't have to deal with shipping, sending money through the mail, getting your FFL to send the license, etc.

DD's ranch 539 + 49(tax) + 20(shipping) + 75 (FFL and can possibly find cheaper) = $683.
PRK store 699 + 63(tax) + 25 = 786.
That's about a $100 savings. I'm not saying it is or isn't worth it to buy online, but he would be saving more than 20 bucks.
Most online gun shops have FFL's saved on file so that is really a non issue as well.Comment

Does DD's send it Cali compliant? If not tack on double shipping plus middle man and mag lock.HMM not quite.

Either you support your local brick and mortar FFL or you dont. I wont lie i bought my Saiga 12 out of state, but NO FFL near me at the time was selling Saiga 12. I contacted ammo bros and I liked their service and I wanted a Saiga 12 from them but they did not carry that model. ( when I say someone near me I mean within a reasonable driving distance)I later found out that Riflegear may of carried them at the time or shortly after but i didn't know riflegear even existed. Either way I would of gladly spent the extra 100 it would of cost to give Ammo bros my business.
Its funny how we are so willing to whore out the FFLs and buy from out of state, but when that FFL closes his doors due to the lack of customers we wonder why they closed down. Peopel for some reason expect to get everything for nothing and the seller to eat any and all profits or costs of doing business.Comment

There you go folks. Everybody wants to nickle and dime and buy online. When in reality they short dick themselves on the value of their time.
