    1911 work done

sorry if this is in the wrong section but...

living in riverside county it is hard to find a gun smith that does work on 1911s... so i went to my local shop Faith armory in temecula and talked to the owner and he does 1911 work... got all the parts i wanted from midway took my kimber and parts to him and two weeks and a very reasonable smith charge later i had my baby back and it is absolutely amazing.

run down on the gun... kimber custom 2 tle rl
parts: all ed brown hardcore: sear hammer mainspring ambi-safety disconnector firing pin

i found some other smiths but turn around time was well lets say significantly longer and wanted a lot more money...

cant say enough good things about this place

Good to hear! Currently waiting to get my 1911 back from Faith Armory. They're installing an Ed Brown Beavertail safety and Novak sights, also for a reasonable price. I received a call after one week that the safety was installed, but the rear Novak sight I had supplied required a different height front sight than was stock on the pistol. I gave the go ahead to order a new front sight and continue with the rear sight installation. So far I'm happy with the pricing, timeline, and communication. Just have to wait and see what the finished product is. I've never been disappointed by a trip to Faith Armory.

Your honor, my client has redeemed himself with the great pics above, submitted for your review as Post #4.
We admit there was a two hour delay in posting the pics, but, your honor, please consider that his wife had the camera so he couldn't get the pics taken right away.
My client has responded to your request in a prompt and timely manner.
He most assuredly will never commit a similar offense again.

              Looks nice!

I could cold blue the sear pin though, it may give my position away in a tactical environment.
