    Am I the only one?

So I moved after 15 years and have started unpacking and sorting the toy room.

How can I possibly have so much junk I have no reason to own? For example I found 250 rounds of .44 mag. I've never owned a .44 mag in my life. I found 500 rounds of 5.56, 200 of .45 long colt and a bag of 308. I haven't owned anything in those calibers in years. I also came across an M16 and M14 bayonets. Again have not had a rifle for the M16 bayonet since before the ban and the M1A has been gone for years.

The stuff above is just the tip of the iceberg. After organizing I now have two boxes of holsters for heaven knows what pistols. The upside is that although I thought I was out of .357 I found a boatload. heh heh.

Am I the only one here who just has a ton of crap that has just showed up. Stuff you don't even remember getting?

I remember getting it all, but sometimes wonder why I got it.

That said... what kind of holsters did you discover? I'm always looking.

I've started finding that too when I get to cleaning out my storage unit. Mostly car parts though, no gun stuff yet.

BTW: I'll take some of the 5.56 off your hands.

Wish I had that problem. I know what I got, just need to get it organized better.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

All kinds, cowboy, pistol, revolver, leather, synthetic, long, short, crappy and new. Too much hassle to sell one at a time.

The ammo I'll probably keep. Just in case...

A few months back I found an entire case of 45 ACP hardball ammo that I haven't seen in 20 years.

                You found treasure!

Wanna trade two boxes of holsters and some bayonets for it?

I recently found a gallon sized zip lock baggie half full of loose scope rings and sling mounts. The only scope I've ever bought and mounted is on my wife's .22. I have no clue where these came from.

I also found in the same box an L1A1 pistol grip and buttstock. My FAL is metric.

I think the neatest find was 150 rds of .410 shells from the 60s. It's the inspiration for my MN M44 shotgun conversion.

I am the same way. Especially now that I am moving out of my house, I realize how much junk I have. I am going to start selling stuff and make a fortune. Even if i sell crap for fifty cents.

I'm pretty sure my garage is chock full of hidden treasures. One of these days I'll sort it out. Some of that stuff has been boxed up since at least 1989 if not earlier.

I wouldn't even want to inventory my crap - I found some 223 brass in the garage the other night that was primed and ready to go - I haven't owned a 223 in about 10 years. I also found some bullets with a price tag from B&B and primers with a price tag from Pony Express. Amazing what those little dust covered boxes in the rafters sometimes contain.
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

lol, I've found 2k 556 brass before...actually my wife stumbled upon it somewhere deep in the shed. I just cleaned out my reloading shack yesterday....I too had lots of .357 (i never owned one), 44mag ammo that I've old the gun long time ago, buck mark mag that I lost and a bunch of stuff...Luckily I traded some brass off with a CNG guy...got some stuff off my shoulders...but in return I got more brass! LOL.

You know that you're not alone. You've seen parts of my "junk piles". Niether my place nor your's is a great place to do it but, someone here should volunteer to host a CG only swap meet. Can anyone think of a place that we could sell C&R's, accessories and maybe even talk a transfer dealer into showing up to DROS stuff?
