Yeah.. 20% of the purchase price. It's on their giant sign inside.
It's a better way to tell the outstate transfer customers to F off.

Yup. I called them up and mentioned the tax as well. Looks like I'll be going elsewhere!

like said, bain & davis is not OLL friendly. enterprise is great (not open on weekends) and charge use tax now otherwise they're great.

gunrunners doesn't have the best service, in fact, they will make you wait even if there's no one there - they'll charge you $100.

crown city is too $$ and so is most of other pawn shops.

turners doesn't do out of state FFL transfers anymore only PTT and like everyone else they charge $35.

if you want service, go to entreprise. if you want price and have some patience try gunrunners - no matter what, you're probably adding $100-$150 more or less on top of the cost of you g19 by buying it out of state....yikes!!!

You sound very knowledgeable but limiting to some expensive options!

Abe, Bright Spot, and many more (if you make some calls) will charge around $60 out the door for outstate OLL transfers. They will receive shipments from individuals and FFLs, no sales tax, and with great service!

I did my last out of state transfer with Straightline Tactical in Anaheim. Don was great and took care of me. $50 out the door. I had a ACR sent as parts and the mag as a rebuild kit, and they were more than happy to do the transfer where most are not.

They will come to the store on days they are closed to give you your gun if the pickup day is that day. Just let them know ahead of time and make a appt.

I know what you mean and you're right that there are others who will probably charge you cheaper but the OP asked for FFL's around the Alhambra and Pasadena area so I only offered the stores whom I called or have done transfers in the past.....

There may even be others in Alhambra/Pasadena that charges cheaper price for out of state transfers but I'm not aware of.

b&d charge $100 plus $35 dros for buying getting a handgun from out of state. Gunrunners charge $65 plus $35. I gone to b&d twice to do it. I just know I will never do business with gunrunners.

I've been trying to look for a decent one out here as well. Seems all the good ones are far or in the OC area.

I second this with first hand experience. Thanks again!
