    Foam Padding

    Hello,

I need to find some foam padding to store in a sliding drawer to store some accessories such as magazines, ammunition, etc. Where could I find some longer sheets to cut out to size for the drawer, black would be preferred. This is an example of what I am looking for:

*Keep in mind, this is not for real firearms or real ammunition.

Google egg crate foam for other options.

I did some searching and you may have luck at Home depot in the lighting department......probably limited color choice (assuming).

I got all my foam there too. Shipping kills the prices though.

wasn't able to find anywhere local to get it, but I also didn't look very hard.

go talk to some upholstery shops, or fabric supply stores should have some.

your location might help. someone near you may be able to point you in a direction.

Go to Sears or some other department store and get a "egg crate" style foam matress pad topper. They are cheap and a small twin size one will give you enough to last a lifetime.
Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel , "Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land."

Nearly 75 years ago (when Welfare was introduced) the democrat party said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land."

Now obama and the dems have stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels,
                    and mortgaged the Promised Land!

You need the heavy density ones. Unfortunately the egg crate style for foam mattress may be too soft.

Check with some guitar, music instrument stores. They may have a lead for you in tracking down the foam you need. We have a place in Palo Alto (Norcal) - House of Foam.
