Guns, dogs and home alarms. Opponents are all of a sudden advocates once their personal space is violated.

Why is it all the funny stuff happens to comedians?

That was one of the interesting things for me when I was living in AZ last year.

We went out shooting in the desert, and I strapped a pistol to my hip, seeing how there were all these armed folks out and about and there would be times that I was reloading or cleaning a gun I was shooting- I always wanted to have a loaded one on my hip.

Somehow, I forgot to take it off my hip when we left: I had gone in and out of Target, a grocery store, and was in McDonald's when I realized I had a loaded gun on my hip... then I realized: "hey, this is AZ, no one cares" LOL

Cabela's makes you unload and lock up your gun though (in Glendale, AZ). Weird.

I lived in Tucson for several years.
During the "Wild West" era hanging your guns at the door was common.
              Nothing new

I do miss all the rifles in the back the windshields of all the pickup trucks
