i understand people trying to sell somthing for a profit but selling somthing used for more than new or price gouging isnt right IMO. like the people buying a gun or bulk ammo out of state thats hard to get here and flip it to fellow calguners for a few hundred more is F'ed up. the more of the minority that try to rip off fellow calguners makes all of us look bad.

dont get me started on the SHTF guys.

It is a Free Market, if you can get a part for $3 less somewhere else, then go there. One of the reasons I stopped selling accessories here is because of the 100 pm's a week saying I can get it cheaper here or there.

It is as simple as doing your homework, if people are too lazy to do their homework than by all means too bad for them.

Just like my car, I know about wholesale departments. I have AAA and Costco along with my Credit Union that will help me to get a better deal on a car. I used all 3 of those outlets to get me the best price I could get on my car. I could of just walked in talked to a sales rep picked out the car I liked and bought it for $5,000 more. But since I did my homework and checked things out I was able to save $5,000 between the price I paid and interest overall on the purchase of the car.

So am I going to stand out if front of the dealership telling them they are going to get ripped off by not going to Costco or AAA or even my CU? Nope! I did my homework and got the deal and the car I wanted.

Also there is the saying "a fool and his money are soon parted" I think that implies to what people are bickering about on overpriced items. You will see that items that are overpriced will soon be dropped down or removed from the ad.

Its called investment and return on investment. if I buy something for a good price I'm in no way obligated to pass the deal I got on to someone else unless I want to. Not that I do this but IF i buy something from out of state and know that I can sell it in my area for more than I paid for it that's my risk if it doesn't sell and my gain if it sells. People do it every day with all sorts of items. I simply don't understand why people think because someone got something for one price they must sell it for less than they paid for it. I dont see how selling something for a profit makes everyone "look" bad. Can you please explain how that makes us all look bad? If you have a used item priced for more than the same item in a store that is not selling thats the sellers problem for not doing his research on the item he was selling. I never see buyers tell sellers they are selling items for too low a price.
This whole Price gouging argument seems a little too one sided.

How about when someone places a item for sale but they are asking too little we all get together and say no that price is too low you need to raise it. I have yet to see one of those posts. Instead 40 seconds later you get ILL TAKE IT.
