    SOCAL Gun stores

Well I'm going to be down in Socal for 3 or 4 days, with my better half........

Anyhow, she's going to be shopping with some friends and she let me out of having to follow her around carrying her bags to the car as she buys stuff...............

So I figured I'd hit a few gun shops down there, Any suggestions on one's I should go to?

              Martin B Retting Incorporated
              (310) 837-2412
              11029 Washington Blvd
              Culver City, CA 90232

Extensive but pricey. Lot's of consignment stuff. Red Star used to be accross the street.

              King's Gun Works
              (818) 956-6010
              1837 W Glenoaks Blvd
              Glendale, CA 91201

Tidy place, most famous for its 1911 work. Some nice C&R pistols in the case.

              Rich's Arms
              (562) 695-9275
              6605 Gretna Avenue
              Whittier, CA 90606

Small place. Nice "back room" to look at goodies.

Those are the three most "interesting" places to me if you like other than "new" stuff.

If you can wait until next weekend there's a gunshow in Glendale, CA at the civic auditorum on the 12th of November. Not too big but you might find something interesting.

              Good hunting!

Just a bit of advice, avoid the freeways during rush hour.. That's 7am-10am and 3pm-7pm M-F. That includes, the 405, 5, 91, 22, 10, 60.. Shoot, just avoid them all!!
