New Shooting Range in LA area!?!

was listening to KFWB news radio down here. LA and Chicago are in the running for the next summer olimpics 2016. If LA gets the bid all they would have to build to accomidate the games is a new shooting range! wonder where they would put the new range!?! and wonder if once the games are over they will turn it over for public use!!

Well if they build it, and didn't turn it over to public use it would be a big of waste of tax payers money....oh, wait, nevermind...

Can't have it in the Los Angeles city limits.
It needs to be built in Kings county as they have lots of space there.

Or, they could use Prado again since it was built for the Olympics the last time.

You are a lowly serf from the unwashed class of society, you cannot use the facilities of those whose stature as athletes exempts them from CA handgun drop test laws.

Do a little fact finding first...Olympic pistols have AW exempt status now.

Well, a range catering to most Olympic shooting events would neither need to be very large or very felxible in duty.

Which is why I say we need to petition adding .50BMG long range target competition to Olympic Shooting events as soon as possible, and then the next step would be to get certain .50BMG rifles that are made for Olympic competition to be exempted from being banned under AB50, as are the Olympic pistols from being AWs!!

                      .

The US Olympic Committee just announced Chicago as the candidate city that they'll offer up to the International Olympic Committee for the 2016 Olympics.
