Why are gunshops closed on Sundays?

I'm not talking about the chain stores. Every local and not-so-local shop that I can think of is closed on a Sunday.

Is this an unwritten rule that we can't buy guns on a Sunday?

Not so unwritten, its in the Bible that the seventh day is for rest. Most gun loving people are also Bible toting and need a day off. What good people, God bless em.

We're not officially open, but if you have a pickup or make an appointment, we'll be there for you, within reason. Don't mess with football season .

You can't buy guns or motorcycles, for the most part.

What does the bible have to do with guns?

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

Cause even gun-store workers need a day off.

Because it is their business, to run as they see fit?

Because the owners and employees need a day off? Personally I would take off mondays and leave sundays open for business.

I also find it strange. You would think Sunday would be one of their busy days.

When High Bridge arms was at the SF location they were closed on Sat and open on Sunday - Not sure now that they've moved and changed name -
