    Oh the life!!

    Hello from free range Florida!

It has been quite some time since I have visited my other home and parents and nearly forgotten what it's like to be outside of the iron curtain.

Oh the sweet smell of freedom, evil black rifles, standard capacity mags, and so many other freedoms that I cant list them all.

And to think, I actually have to come back.......

    Today was gun shop day!

Yea but you have to put up with lots of old people, very hot humid weather, hurricanes, and crazy southern hill billies.

          Every state has it's disadvantages...

          As far as Florida...

Old people die off (although they are replaced daily).
Humid weather is good for the skin (no need for skin lotion)
Hillbillies are cool! (so are the women ).
          Fire ants suck!
          WE CAN HAVE MACHINEGUNS HERE!

          California...

          Vehicle registration is outrageous
Hot is hot regardless of weather it is a "dry heat".
Tweekers & treehuggers suck (at least hillbillies have guns!)
Beaches are the pits! (rocks are not "beaches")
          etc, etc, etc......

Unfortunatly, I will be back on the 14th.

I was in Panama City, FL last week. Unfortunatly, it was on business and a very rushed trip at that. I didn't get to spend much time there at all. I did get a chance to drink a few beers and watch all the spring break hotties get a little crazy at the hotel. The weather wasn't bad at all. It was a little humid but I love the tropics and that weather felt good to me.

On another note, I spent a couple of days in New Orleans on the same trip. I was surprised at what I saw there. There are still houses with blue tarps as roofs. Not just a few, a LOT of them had blue roofs. There were also a lot of FEMA trailers set up in several front yards. The service people (taxi drivers, hotel maids, and front desk kind of people) were extremely rude. I saw a TV commercial advertising free schooling in the construction trade. The catch was that you had to work in New Orleans for a year or two. The Port Operations guy in Panama City told me N.O. gets no sympathy from anyone since they wont lift a finger to help themselves. The majority of the residents in low income neighborhoods resort to stealing and killing for the basic necesities in life. Oops. I didn't mean to thread jack.

Florida was nice and I wish I could have spent more time there.
