    is it me or ..............

Have you guys noticed more members posting on here having problems with a FFL transaction and using Calguns as the bashing hammer, basically threatening the FFL that if they don't take care of it they are gonna post it in the internet and Calguns specifically. I don't have a problem with someone doing a heads up I was treated xyz at shoobie doobie FFL but how do you feel about using Calguns/member #s as a tool for the FFL to fix the "wrong"

cause this is an effective way to get the FFL to not just brush them off.

I'm not saying that this "power" should be used for anything/everything but with some stuff, this is the only recourse to get the FFL to not be a bully of sorts.

I am guilty of doing this once before, but more of a rant/beware, than a "get it fixed" post.

There is power in numbers, and the threat of a bad reputation as a bad FFL is very powerful.

On the other hand, I think people are a bit too quick to "run and tell Calguns" on these FFLs. Usually, there's more to the story than they're telling, and things get blown out of proportion.

We just need to take a lot of these threads with a grain of salt, and try to see through the (if any) BS. I have heard of many "bad experiences" at gunstores that I have had nothing but the best experience with.

I am all for it. We as gun owners are already being attacked from all directions; the LAST thing we need is for our very own FFLs to be giving us a hard time. Problematic FFLs should definitely be called out on Calguns.

I have seen the threads. If some FFL wrongs you. This is the place to warn others.

Yeah but Im not talking about stuff like FFL fees or gettingbad treatment as a customer walking in and being ignored or FUD. I'm talking about a transaction between the customer and the FFL and the way it gets resolved is ( the customer arm twisting the FFL) by airing out on here.

calguns is a good weapon against shiesty gun shop owners...with 50k gun owners we are definately a big influence. if someone feels like that want to rip off newbs for PPT, etc, they get called out on here which i love. Forces you to do good business.

Ok the guy on Cold war shooters problem. His FFL was in the wrong ( by being late on the delivery) but obviously he did deliver. Do we really need to come here with every little problem that is easily fixable ( IMO) and bash a FFL. I can see if its a major problem ( outright theft, misleading info etc) but some things can easily be resolved between adults like adults
