    What Cali should be like

Just got back from a month stay in Mesa, AZ. While I was out there I checked out one of the gunstores, damn near made me cry!

Racks upon racks of ARs, FALs, HK type rifles with a couple of AUGs and an UZI for sale! On top of that a friend told me you could by guns FTF with no paperwork and its all legal! Just hand your money over and take the gun.

Made me realize what sort of a**hats we have in Sacramento! Damn we are so screwed...

Lots of states are still cash and carry PPT. Kinda surprised me when I moved here. "You mean I can just give you money and I take the gun and leave?"

Man, I can't even imagine walking into a gun store full of AWs. What will I do? Maybe drool? Max out my credit cards? If I see HK MP5, and M16, who knows I might be in tears.

My credit card would be maxed out the first week if I moved there. The 113 degree heat banished the thought of moving real quick though.

I checked out the classifieds in the local paper and saw a couple of ARs for sale FTF, and was this CLOSE to buying one and leaving it at my friends house.

Lots of states are still cash and carry PPT. Kinda surprised me when I moved here. "You mean I can just give you money and I take the gun and leave?"
My question was just the opposite to my buddys out there "You mean, I can just give you the money, take the gun and LEAVE? No checks, no nothing?". They gave me a funny look when I asked that, busted out laughing when I told them about our laws. The response was "Whats the big deal?, they're just tools. So if I sold you a knife, would you have a 10 day wait too?" To which I said, "No, no wait there but you can't sell me a switchblade". More laughter....

At that point, I just shut up...
