Being a member at burro is great if you don't work on weekdays cause you can almost always get a private range. Forget about it on the weekends. Everyone is pretty nice at burro, as long as you don't act like an idiot. I personally don't like shooting at the public ranges as they are pretty laid back and you will see some people doing things that I am not comfortable being around.

I have been a member for a few years. The range has had many improvements in the last couple of years. I go during the week and have always meet nice people there, staff included. Its been a year since my last visit for me but their organization was a little lacking back then. They didn't have a good handle on private range reservations and such. Overall I would say a good range. Go up a couple of times at the time of week you can shoot and see if you want to join.

Ive been going their for a while. privet ranges are cool. Public side gets busy on the weekend.Weekdays and when it rains makes it slow there so it makes for a good day of shooting. Over all I give it two thumbs up.

+1 to weekdays at Burro. Last time I went there on a weekday, there were a grant total of 3 other people there. The only times I go there now is on one of the private ranges for carbine classes.

Great facilitates, not too far way.... gotta keep your eyes open when on the public range.
