PPT rules and regs

I was in a local gun shop this weekend looking at a nice consignment gun. One of the salesmen said that the PPT does not count against your one handgun in 30 days period.

Is there any definitive information on this. I would like to pick up the item, but just bought a SW 641 for the wife this past weekend. I have 3 other new guns lined up for the next 3 months, so a quasi freebie would be nice.

You do fifty PPT's a month if you wan't too! Consignment is different though, that would be a purchase through the FFL Dealer. So as long as they are PPT's you can do as many as like.
