should I buy/trade/save? help me decide

Here's wher I am: Just bought a house (first one somewhat of a fixer upper) and I've been spending alot on stuff for the home. I am in a cast now due to a broken elbow requiring surgery.

I can't work on my house cause of my arm, so it pointless to buy stuff to fix up the home. Also, I feel like I need a break from house purchases and want to buy something cool for myself, a self pity purchase if you will (another gun). I currently own a SA 1911, AR15, Mossberg 12 ga. pump, ruger SR9, Mossin M44, Old Sears .22 rifle.

So this is the question: Should I

    1. save my money. I'm gonna need it for home projects.

    2. buy the AK47 I've been wanting (cheap WASR)

    3. Save to get the enterprise FAL I've been wanting

    4. pick up a g17 or 92FS that I've been eyeing. (willing to trade/sell my SR9)

Save $$ for the home. it will by far be the better investment IMO. I liek guns but if it came to choosing in investing in my house or buying a gun Ill invest in the house

I'm kinda in the same boat as you, minus cast. I'm putting my money into fixing the house up. Better long term investment.

sometimes when we buy, but don't get what we really want, it leads to other purchases... like a domino effect. get what you really want and have no regrets. make it hurt only once....

Put it on the house. It's your best investment.
