A detachable magazine isn't an evil feature - it's a qualifier.

If "no regulation" means that a PG is considered featureless, which allows high-capacity detachable mags, I'll take that and go with a "post ban" upper (not threaded or pinned comp), no bayo lug, and A2 stock.

The PG is the one thing that qualifies most military-pattern weapons as "assault weapons", and is the most necessary of all of the SB23 restricted items.

I don't recall which state it is... I think it's either NJ or MA but don't quote me on it... their AW statutes are patterned pretty closely to the Federal ban regs, but they are allowed to have TWO "evil features" and still run detachable magazines.

Ney York is a carbon copy of the '94 AWB. One feature* = good. Two features = bad.

*A detachable magazine, again, is a qualifier, and not an 'evil feature'

It's common to CT, MA, NJ, and NY, and they can have ONE evil feature. Two evil features is an AW.

Rather than featureless they can go single feature. We sell a boatload of Hammerheads up there to shooters who want to run a collapsible stock or use a threaded barrel (evil feature there) so they can try different flash hiders (also evil) or compensators. Bayo lug is evil there but thumbhole stock is not.

So is a threaded barrel AND a hider count as two, or do they pick one and pin it, eliminating the threaded barrel and reducing the count to one? Or does the threaded barrel only count when it's exposed?
