    I know KVAR makes one.

I saw this Saiga 20 conversion thought it looked pretty cool, wonder how hard it is to rock a magazine in though.

Bullpups aks are normally not that good. I can't speak about the kvar ones but normally the thing that is connecting your trigger to the bullpup trigger is a piece of wire or plastic i think. Makes the trigger pull horrible.

How so? You can make improvements to the rifle without going the bulpup route, to possibly make it shoot more accurately. Change the FCG out with an adj. Red Star unit. Improve and extend the sight radius, or attach a scope. That bulpup system has been around for decades. It's not that great.

I can't tell if that's a wire, maybe not, but seriously not the most elegant solution. eh....

If its for fun, knock yourself out, but basically you make your gun more complicated, more parts to fail and the shakiest bit is would you trust your life to that thin piece of wire or rod not giving out? The KVAR kit, saw a few back in the day, not impressed, basically two plastic shells that clam together with a thin piece of wire as trigger link...I'd pass, get more ammo.

Looks like it might be a wire.. I heard they were piano wire. I think the KVAR kits just sold them off to Century. There's gotta be a reason why you don't see more of these around.

Another way around this might be doing some sort of AMD65 with the forward grip and no rear grip with an ultimax gas tube mount. still have to figure out how to deal with the trigger still.

When KVAR was selling the bullpup kits, they called them the "AKU94".
Due to bad reviews and slow sales, KVAR sold the kit/tooling to Century International Arms.
Century uses the bullpup kits with Romanian AK parts kits to make their bullpup AKs.
It's still a craptastic piece of tactcoolness.

Horrible trigger system and tendency to over heat rapidly, are the two main drawbacks.

But, if you are into style over substance. Go for it. You can still get the kits for around $200-300.
