Exploding Glock?

My buddy told me today that his son's Glock just exploded in the son's hands. Apparently he had a 10mm version. There is also supposed to be video of it happening. Hopefully I'll get ahold of the video..

Supposedly ok. Slight powder burns on the face area, and something with the hands, but doesn't sound to serious.

That's good news! Non-serious injuries when something goes wrong while shooting is always better than the other possibility.

So was he shooting reloads? I'd be willing to bet that may have been it.

That was my first thought as well. From what I understand, they may have been commercial reloads..

Its been happening quite a bit lately with factory loads........i know of another guy local to me here in Chico that had his M&P 9mm kaboom w/ Winchester white box.
