Martin B. Retting in The Trigger Effect?

I was watching The Trigger Effect last night (horrible movie btw), there's a scene when the good guys go into a gunstore to purchase a shotgun. It looks like they're going into Martin B. Retting, the signs look like the signs from M.B.R., what was interesting was when they walk out, they turn left out of the store and walk into a parking lot. If you walk out of M.B.R. now and turn a left you walk into a street instead of a parking lot.

So, was it Martin B. Rettings in the movie? The inside looks like it, they purchased the gun at the back counter and the line formed where the used long gun racks are.

God damn that movie was horrid... Let's get drunk and throw our only gun in the swimming pool. Then go on a drive across country for no reason...

Hollyweird does that a lot. A lot of UCLA building exteriors appear in flicks, but when the characters walk in, it's like "WTF?!? That's not the right room!"

If what your describing is correct then if you turn left just outside the front door you do head into a parking lot across the street. A seven eleven is there.

i wouldnt be suprised. its probably the closest, largest store with the right "look". plus sony studios is right down the street. and i understand that theyve been known to supply guns for movie shoots. it all adds up. being on the westside, they probably get celebity clients form time to time. plus industry execs.

The people acting stupid doesn't invalidate the movie... Along with "Cloverfield" it's a great "DON'T DO THIS" movie. People with no preparation are in a emergency and do precisely the wrong things. Everybody is selfish and suspicious and will do evil if given half a chance.

These movies are useful, if viewed correctly.
