    Likely a stupid question....

This is pretty much a no brainer but in the interest of better safe than sorry, I just wanted to verify if I can legally but an upper with a Colt bolt carrier assembly.

    Thanks

Out of curiousity, why did you think it was illegal?

Not that I thought it was illegal, just wanted to make sure that due to it being a Colt bolt, it wasn't. These days, you never know; always safe to check first.

You said it perfectly, in Ca, you never know.

Can you think of a single example of ANY AR-15 bolt being a no-no in CA? Strange question.

In case your next question was going to be, "is it legal to buy a Armalite/Bushmaster/ etc bolt" the answer is "yes."

Ahhh yes, a thread is not truly complete unless it is graced with the "intelligent" trolling of oshmily.
