Outwardly the look may be chipped wood, heavy steel, smooth black plastic or laser scopes,
WTF is a laser scope? i see this term used all the time. I dont imagine seeing many people using a laser rangefinder scope on their MG.

This is the second quote from a Brady representative that seems to indicate that they would prefer us to have full autos instead of "more dangerous" semi-autos. Very strange...

I think what he was getting at is that the full-auto regulations are a success story. IE - they have become too expensive and too difficult for a majority of people to obtain, they're highly regulated, importation is illegal, and they're slowly becoming extinct in civilian hands as a result.

I think what he's getting at - is they'd rather have the laws that apply to FA apply to all guns over the current SA regulations.

        that sucks.

LOL. They can dream all they want...

The increase in MA FA weapons seems to indicate that extinction is being reversed.

I love that even though they can't cite one instance where the guns of responsible, licensed owners were purposely used to commit a crime...they still say they are far to dangerous to put in the hands of ordinary citizens, and the licensing should be much tougher. Classic anti ideology: "I don't know how to use it or I don't understand it; therefore, there needs to be a law against it!!!"

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

The number of transferable MG's is fixed. It can only stay the same or decrease. It's legally impossible to increase this number.

This "increase" in MA means a decrease somewhere else.

The banners tactics on this one have in fact worked.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
