    7.62x39 Wolf Ammo

I have acquired a box of a 1000 rounds still in individual 20 round Wolf boxes and don't have a gun compatible for these rounds. I am looking to unload them. What would be the best method to do so with out getting in trouble if i could get in trouble. (I am not up on the Cali Laws as of yet.) Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for allowing the noob to be apart of your forum.

I'm not sure there's anything you could do to get in trouble.

Post them for sale in the ammo forum. There's no law against selling ammo.

Best thing to do is get an Eastern Bloc or Chinese rifle and shoot them up.

Yeah I bought about A 1000 rounds of Wolf 76.2x39 at the
Del Mar Gun Show. Works great in my SKS. I wouldnt shoot it out of modern firearms considering sks's and ak like rifle are stamped steel.

Chime in if I missed anything

You can't bring the drum, assuming you did not have it in CA or any high capacity magazines before year 2k, and your AK must be modified to be CA legal

OK all kidding aside...Did I say that????
There is NO law against selling ammo in Ca. Just be sure the buyer is over 18. Please PM me and let me know what you want for them before you advertise them in the Ammo for sale forum here. I have an AK and an SKS that is very hungry.

Your drum is a felony in Ca. Unless you had it here before 2001. Otherwise it is importation of a hi cap mag. And your AK must be Ca. compliant. 10 round mags and a Bullet Button or a featureless configuration that includes none of these...

The only way you could get in trouble with that ammo is, if you parked your car outside a junior high school and were handing each school kid a box of ammo each on their way into school.

What type is your AK? If it is not a model listed by name, you can make it CA compliant prior to bringing it into CA. That way, you can enjoy your ammo. You'd have to leave the drum mag in WA, and buy some 10rds mags when you get here.

Life can make you do many things, even kiss a man with a runny nose.

He did say "If"...that might be why he wants to unload the ammo.
