Old 38s ? Short Colt. Up Date Info.

Sorry guys I was way off on my time period. It's Short Colt.
    .38 short Colt ammo.

The .38 S&W is a revolver cartridge developed by Smith & Wesson in 1877. Though similar in name, it is not interchangeable with the later .38 Smith and Wesson Special due to a different case shape and slightly larger bullet diameter.

Anyone know where I can buy old school plain .38s? Sorry guys Ammo.

    As in ammo or weapons?
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

Some idiots are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything

            Bring Money.

            I save brass, reload.
Even with 4 cent primers, 8 cent bullets, and 2 cent powder, reloading beats factory.

I can only assume that you mean ".38 special" and not any of the other .38 caliber ammo that has been made. How much are you looking for? There are many on line vendors who will gladly ship you a case.

Not 38 special. It's .38 ammo that was for .38 Revolvers in the 1920s and 30s.

I'm pretty sure .38 Special was common by the 1920s and 30s. Are you talking about .38 S&W?
