    not exactly a cal thread

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, Ill be heading through canada on my way to alaska, and I want to bring my riflel. I learned recently that I wont be able to because it has a 10 round mag and canadas limit is 5.

My question is can I mail the mag and bring the rifle without one, essentially making it a one round rifle. Id like to have some sort of protection while camping. I figure one round is better than none.

I know this isnt a cal law question, but I think someone here might know.

    thanks, chris

Is it possible to buy 5 rounds mag?

What kind of rifle is it?
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

      Its an enfield.

I leave in 6 days, so I even if there is a 5 rd for it, I doubt I can get it in time.

The 5 round mag limit is for centerfire semiauto rifles.

Here's an example of 10 round mags for the AIA Enfield offered for sale:
