My dad got some flyer in the mail saying there was a place at the same address that the now defunct and infamous B&E was at selling knives and gun stuff and such. Seemed interesting and the phone book still lists the address as being a gun shop so off I went.
Low and behold theold B&E owner and his son are there! It had been converted in to a antique store the last 5 years or so but he tired of that and he is now branching out in to gun stuff. There appeared to be airsoft, magazines knives for a start. He said ammo is coming possibly but he was waiting to see what was going on with the dumb ammo bills floating around the senate first.
Not much to rush down there for but worth a look, I got a S&W 41 magazine. Good to see any gun related business in CA these days. Stop by and tell them where you saw this! They seem to be internet savvy as the owner tells me the son sells stuff on Ebay.
Wonder how B&E had my dads address after 5 years or more, aren't they suppose to turn in yhe 4473's when you give up your FFL?
Ahh, B&E, while I got in to it with them a few times and stopped shopping there for a year once, they had excellent new gun prices and they loved to toe the line with ATF and DOJ it seemed. Many of my early gun collecting dollars were spent there.
It is in Cypress acroos the street from Forest Lawn cemetary on Lincoln. It's called like Z colectibles or something though, not B&E. Funny, when B&E used to advertize on local radio stations long ago(remember KNAC?) the directions did not mention that it was located across the street from the cemetary!
