Checked one out today at a local dealer.
Cool looks, but the stock does not adjust to any length, so unless your short limbed your cheek is going to rest atop the picatinny rail.
I like the textured pistol grip but dont see why the mag well has to be textured the same.
The gas piston system makes it feel far to front end heavy just like the Swat version of the Sig 556, and the ACR has plastic handgards, but perhaps that has something to do with the interchangeable barrel. Well it made my arm ake holding it.
So you can change out the barrel and bolt, how much more are they going to cost and be available.
That doesn't seem practical in the field to me, its a creative exersize in what can be achieved but i dont see its practical application.
Lastly with all the hype that has followed this rifle in recent months it just didn't get me excited.
Ill stick to FN's black SCAR, looks better, feels better, has all the ergonomics that you need and is much lighter, it fits like a glove.
And its a 1in7 twist vs the 1in9 on the ACR.
