Does anyone know what happend to JD Security?

I DROSed a handgun with JD on the 13th, and I have been calling and emailing him since Monday with no success. Usually I hear back from him in a day or two at the most. I would like to know if anyone has talked to or seen him lately.

    Thanks

+1, JD is a good man. He must have some reason.

JD never responded to the numerous phone messages or e-mails I left him way back in the day when I was looking to get some FFL services. For all I know, the guy doesn't even exist.

I guess some of you here have actually worked with him??

I've done about 6 transfers with him. Usually he gets back to me fairly quickly.

I picked up my P99 on the 23rd, the day before the shoot-n-q at Chabot. He mentioned he had to pack up later in the day, so I think he's on vacation. Just relax and he'll call and/or email you when he gets back.

JD handled some of the early Group Buys I organized back in Dec 05, man those were the days..... I haven't worked with him for a year, but glad to see he is still sporting his FFL.
p.s. He's a big time hunter/outdoorsman, so he is probably off on another trip.

Aye... that is where I met the man named "Mud". Those were the days. 30+ people in a house for 3+ hours waiting their turn at the computers to fill in the DROS information..

JD is a no B.S. guy, however, I don't think he likes the telephone as much as many other people of this day and age. On the phone he's rough, and almost rude. In person he's a completely different animal. The experiences I had with the early group buys were something I'll never forget.

Well I posted the question to find out what was going on. When I saw him on the 13th it was not communicated to me that he would be away. My waiting period is well up, and I have not heard from him, so I decided I would ask the members of this forum. I am not panicking (maybe a little impatient to get my new gun) just looking for a heads up.

I was there, too. It was my best Xmas present ever.

Sometimes JD is unable to be reached. But in most cases you would be informed in advance.
