I find all basics of martial arts directly transferable to firearm handling - Brian Enos chapters on the state of mind could be replaced with the applicable chapter of Musashi's Five Rings, achieving the state of "nothingness"...

As for the article - I find myself less humored and more disturbed by it... Seems like the "comedian" is little experienced in both Yoga and firearm handling, yet spouts advice on both - if this was the stand up act, he'd probably get hooted off stage... I find nothing funny about advocating use of firearms as a solution to life's little annoyances or implying gore made possible by B-movies as real life alternatives.

The disparity of two pop-culture icons is a little funny though - pseudo yoga and pseudo gun culture of LA is like Frappe Lattes served at a Rodeo... The point missed outside of a small community of people having access to both.

I think this guy read a few too many Mack bowlan novels, still, the more people he converts from WAYYYYY outside the gun community to our side the better.

People don't realise how F'd up the laws are untill they go and jump through the hoops.

What do you mean I can't take it home today?
What do you mean you need my drivers licence to sell me ammo?
What do you mean I have to buy a lock for it? I live alone!
What do you mean I need a safety card? I took a class on safety!
what do you mean I can only get one every 30 days?
What do you mean I cant get a mag bigger than 10 rounds? That guy has one!

Patton Oswalt has gained fame because of his stances and his style. Hes the comedian who was the nerd kid on King of Queens. Hes pretty good stand up too.

Pretty funny guy. Rotten.com did an interview with him
