.45GAP is fairly hard to find, I wouldn't.

No. Don't do it. Bad idea. IMHO it is only a matter of time before the .45GAP round disapears.

They are cheap because everyone wants to unload them.

Someone should make a conversion barrel for them so you can shoot a more popular round with it.

I'm a Glock fan. I own several Glocks. I'm waiting to use my 2010 GSSF purchase for the Gen 4's when they get on the list. All that being said - avoid the GAP. You won't be able to find the ammo for it.

If you want a 45 Glock get a 21SF, feels almost the same as a 45 GAP and there's no ammo issue.

                  I am selling a G38 ($475 3 mags) in order to buy a G37.

I have an ammo source. Me.

The round is actually really cool. Hell, it was designed FOR a Glock pistol.

Edit: If you need some factory .45 GAP ammo, I can get some for a reasonable price. Please PM.

I am always looking for Beretta D models in 9mm or a Compact Type M.

Unless you reload, I wouldn't. That round is going the way of .44 Automag and 9mm Federal. It might be cool as a collector's piece. But if you plan on shooting it, and don't roll your own, don't bother. It was good during the Obama scare, as you could find both the pistols and the ammo around. But that was mainly because nobody wanted them. If you are that desperate for a pistol, get one of the S&W Sigma's when they go on sale there. It may not be a Glock, but at least you will be able to find ammo for it...

This questions seems to always pop up when Turners has them for sale at $399. For that price, buy it and add it to the collection and keep your eye out for ammo. It's out there.

Why do you think Turners is selling them for 399? They are impossible to sell to a halfway conscious buyer.

THIS. If you're a Glock fan and you like the G17/22 frame size, the G37 will be a perfect fit for you. DO NOT listen to the people who tell you that ammo is impossible to find -- they have no idea what they're talking about. .45 GAP ammo is everywhere, and though it is slightly expensive (around 50 cents per round, often less), you have to consider that that's about what .45 ACP runs (40-50 cents a round). Obviously the best thing to do is to reload your own ammo though.

You'll find many other places selling the G37 at low prices because Glock is trying to make the .45 GAP round more widely accepted. It's a marketing move.

maybe the dealer is having trouble moving them since it's not a really popular caliber.

i bought a g39 on impulse, sight unseen, for $440. when i arrived to dros it, the dealer gave me all the .45 gap he had on the shelf.
