    Looking for a upper

Looking through shotgun news for a upper. Planning on a bull barrel SS upper 223/556 20 inch. i see uppers going for about 350-400$. On the page next to it shows a Upper KIT. for about 550-600. Do i need the KIT or the upper for 350-400. The upper description does not say if it comes with a the bolt group. Also the descriptions say A2 and A3 any info on that
    thanx

At 550-600 it will probably include the BCG, the other one at 350 might not. Call to make sure. If there is any pictures of the upper you can tell if it is A2 with the carry handle, A3 is the flat one without. Remember that you also need a charging handle if the $350 one does not include it

        Ok
So im really looking for this upper but trying to get a idea of what to get. The lower is a 223/5.56 type of lower. I have a ton of 7.62x39 ammo so I can go with that upper. Im not sure which ammo woudl be cheaper. I can do a 5.45 also. or 223/5.56. I'm just not sure if I wanna invest in a ton of more ammo or get something that i already have ammo for. The cheapest would be a 5.45 from what I see in ammo prices

This rifle wont be a everyday go to the range. More liek Ill shoot it once ina while. So i would liek to get some opinions. Im looking to spend abotu 650 or less for a complete upper from shotgun news. or if I find a good price one for sale here.

        Thanx
        Rob

5.45 will be a pain to clean on an AR platform. I would suggest 5.56 upper with .22 conversion kit.

The 5.56/223 seem to be the most plentiful and cheapest overall.

bcg and ch will cost extra 150, might be cheaper to buy the whole kit.

go to pkfirearms.com and look at their bull barreled uppers on there in the 500-600 dollar range. Nice stuff for the money and comes complete with BCG and customer service to back it up.
