anyone ever purchase from here? they have a decent deal on 7.62x54r, w/ free shipping on all products. wondered if anyone had ever used them before. Don't wanna get ripped off. Free shipping on something as heavy as ammo sounds too good to be true.

Don't waste your time. Here is their terms of service you have to check before ordering.
By checking this box you agree to comply with all local, federal and state laws as well as our terms and conditions which include: that you are 21 years of age or older, that you do not reside in the states of NYC, MASS or CA. This checkbox is an electronic signature and will be retained as compliance data.
And here is there policy from the FAQ page.
CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS: No sales period. Call your Reps and make a change!
Sounds like this statement (No frills, no BS, just bullets !!) on the homepage is incorrect, they have a lot of BS.Comment

actually emailed back and forth with there folks, they said that sales to CA is usually pretty complicated, I explained that my county is fine with ammo purchases, had a response in a few min saying they would ship to me, ordered some ammo to see how the sale goes if all is well, I'll probably order more.
The shopping cart thing was an issue on their side, they were unaware of it because no one had reported it. The interaction with them today was pretty good, fast replies, and very friendly.Comment

So I corresponded with the guys that run ammo2u.com they are ironing out their website, It took a little bit of patience but found that after they made a few changes everything went great, they shipped my ammo promptly and were very nice in all correspondence. Because of the few problem I encountered with the site and dealing with it with patience and not getting rude they threw in a couple extra boxes of ammo. I will defiantly be shopping with them again, and would recommend them to anyone.Comment

i checked out there website. its kinda weird, read the "wall of shame" they've got one letter from a guy in CA *****ing about ammo2u charging sales tax and not shipping to CA.
But in there response they say they dont charge sales tax, and they do ship to CA. It sounds like they changed their polices after the guy sent his letter and are giving him a hard time about it.
Plus at the bottom of their home page they've got a notice that says "no we are not fraudulent" wtf? what happened? They seem like cool people, the website just seems a little all over the place if you know what i mean.Comment

I have made several purchases from Redline Ballistics (rlbammo.com) over the past several months. They have some very good deals on "Valu-Paks" and the shipping is reasonable. Since the ammo is shipped factory direct from Montana there is no sales tax. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for great ammo at a very reasonable price.Comment
