    I'm So F%$#^&* Sick Of E-bay

Are these guys seriously this dumb? They provide a link to the doj website but can't go there themselves to read up on the most recent gun laws. I'm trying to sell a freakin picatinny rail riser and they're telling me its part of an assault rifle so they had to remove it. I'm gonna cancel my account on there. Any of you guys had trouble with these morons?

around a year ago I sold a human skull for $800. it was for medical use (metal springs, latches, and all that for the jaws and skull cap), my father obtained it when he was in college. it was creeping me out being in the house, so i sold it on eBay. i didn't have any problems.

That means someone complained about your auction... It's hit or miss really.

They are idiots. Just change the way you describe things and don't have any firearm pictures.

I tried to get a scope mount for a M1A I was notified that the auction had ended because the item being sold was in violation of ebay. I then contacted the owner. He told me that the pulled the item because it was pictured on top of a rifle. He told me that he had been getting anti-gunner emails from sheep. Dont they realise that they cannot be sheep without us wolfdogs...

I am so tired of ebays rules and the people's ethics on ebay. It seems like lately when ever I try to sell something there at least half the items being sold I have issues with people bid on, buying and then say they do not want. I recently tried to sell some skid plates for a quad and I had clear pictures and everything. I thought is was very clear. The guy bid on it and asked for shipping cost. I went and got a boxed, figured out all the shipping cost and then he changed his mind and decide he did not want it. This is after I went and bought a box and packaged it all up. That means I am putting out extra money and he descides not to pay. I am sick of the whole thing. I am now using craigslist. If they want it, they can come pick it up. People just are not being responsible for thier actions anymore. It seem like a reaccuring problem in this country.

I got rid of my ebay account.

I listed a bunch of AR parts recently, they were canceled within 4 hours, took me like 1.5 hours to take the photos and type up descriptions and terms of shipping etc.

I was pissed, so I don't think I'm going to sell anything through them. I still ocasionally buy stuff on there because you can find screaming deals on mislisted stuff.

Ebay pulled an auction I had running for a CETME bayonet, citing DOJ regs. I ended up in an email war with their rep over the whole thing (to no avail). It was like dealing with a junior high school hall monitor gone mad with power. The best one I ever saw was a series of auctions an Australian had for some spent .303 brass on a Mk I stripper clip. It kept getting pulled, and the guy kept relisting it using big words like “IT WON’T GO BOOM” as well as citing the rules and posting their emails in the description.

Of course, in the end, it's their fascist rules for their fascist website. Now I use Gunbroker for all my online firearms related auction needs.

I bid on those cases and was contacted by the lister. He was a good guy the cases finally sold for about 100 bucks US! There were 50 303 cases if memory serves.

The trick to selling your AW class items on Ebay I found is to use the magic word, "Airsoft"

Over the past few years I've bought and sold, scope risers, forward grips, stocks, accessory rails, detachable carry handles and more simply by mentioning that the items for sale were for Airsoft.

This selling technique has worked for me for some time now and I"ve avoided having any of my auctions being cancelled and I don't even own a Airsoft product plus not a single buyer has complained.

Now on the other hand I once listed a leather holster and in my item description I listed numerous pistols it would fit. One of them got my listing cancelled. Apparently Tec 9 was caught by one of the Ebay bots and the listing was cancelled citing " assault weapons or accessories are not allowed on Ebay "

Even after I went round and round with the Ebay enforcers they would not reinstate that particular auction. Yeah, Ebay sucks but you can work around their rules if you are careful.

I've sold a ton of stuff on e bay. About seven grand in the past year and a half. Only had one listing cancelled. It was a fixed stock for an AR. I've sold stocks, grips, scopes, holsters, mag pouches, scope mounts and rings.

I keep the description short and sweet. The buyer will know what it is. If they has questions they'll contact you.

                              E bay rocks!
