    Cabelas in Lehi, Utah

I had a chance to visit the Calebas store in Utah today. It was my first visit to the store. What a nice place it was. Everything was stocked well. Ammo shelves were full, and the gun racks were full also. The prices were decent, also. There were also very nice high end guns. All the "assault weapons" did not have bullet buttons or fixed magazines. I beleive the people were buying and picking up the guns on the same day after DOJ background check. To me, it was heaven enough.

I bought some 22 LR ammo and other camping supplies there today. I will be visiting the place again in August and will buy some more stuffs.

Love that Cabelas - Back in October I bought a few pounds of RL10x powder when nobody (and I mean nobody) else had any powder in stock anywhere. Utah had tons of it.

I just missed getting to visit the Berger bullet factory on the way up - they closed just 30 minutes before I got there. Maybe next time...

Yep, it's a nice store. The Reno one is about half the size. If you are going to be in Utah during the week and have some free time, give Barnes a call and see if they can arrange a tour for you.

Did they ever fix the end of the parking lot that was sliding down the hill? We stop in when we come back from antelope hunting in Wyoming.

If you ever get the chance to go check out the Cabelas in Reno or Glendale Arizona be sure and do so. Great stores with lot's of sick toys!

Makes me want to drive out there, fill the back of my truck with ammo and drive home... non-stop.

Make sure if you go there that you check out all the stuffed deer/elk/etc in the section off to (i think) the north side. Some damn impressive specimens in there.

Suddenly I'm craving a prime rib sandwich from Cabela's. I can't wait to go back to Utah next month.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time for a tour at the Barnes Bullets. In August, I plan to stay extra couple of days. Then I should have enough time for all the places I want to visit.

The parking lots appeared to be in good shape.

No, I didn't see it, but saw a lot of other good ones. I was tempted to buy couple of them and have them ship it to CA.

Great store I spent 5 hours and about $800 bucks there a few years ago
Theres also a fantastic dinosaur/fossil museum just across the freeway and down about 1/4 mile
Reno's Cabelas could fit in a corner of the Lehi store

They still show it on the website at Cabelas gun library
It is even on sale but it is still out of my reach.

I've been to the one in Glendale AZ, sadly I didn't buy anything but I spent hours browsing and taking pictures of the stuffed animals.

There was someone selling BBQ in the front of the store. It smelled really nice, but I had lunch already. I will try that next time, also.
