The DOJ maintains a list of all pistols that have been transfered in the state of california since 1991. They also keep a record of the number of long arms that you have transfered into your name (using the 4473 form at the dealer) since 1991

They have no record of pistols purchased prior to 1991 which were bought face to face through private partys, they also have no record of C&R long guns which were bought from private individuals face to face (even today)

If the ATF comes looking, they theoretically have access to all of the dealer records at the gun stores where you have bought your guns. but aside from the paper copies of the records that the gunstores keep (and later transfer back to the ATF for wharehousing after they let their licence lapse) there is no way for them to know exactly what you own.

There is also no law which prevents you from having moved to a different state for a few months (and selling off a bunch of your guns face to face) then deciding you don't like it and moving back to CA.

The proper response to a request from the PD, ATF, DOJ etc. to look at/sieze your guns is 'I'm sorry I cannot allow that without a warrent, and I request to have my lawyer present at all times during the process"

Don't lie, just don't talk to them at all, You're under no obligation to speak, and when you're lawyer shows up he'll walk you through the process of "I decline to answer on the advice of counsel"

Gun Control = Gun Registration = Gun Confiscation = Tyranny.

                It's been proven.

The majority of the squad cars in Santa Clara County have computers on them that allows officers to quickly search through databases. After they plug all of your information in (only needing name and date of birth) they can pull up your driving record, arrest record, whatever you have been stopped for, and every single registered firearm you own through the AFS (automated firearm system). Even if there is not a computer in the squad car the same information can be given from dispatch as well.

Not a single person in the crowd is rational or reachable because the parade's for gay folks and it's in SF.

I thought the DOJ must destroy all long arm purchase records after 30 days, they just have the record temporarily for background checks. Therefore they do not know the number of long arms you have...., right?

never came up when I had my friends at SFPD typed my info into their system. Came back clean. No firearms info either. Did NCIS search at the station & came back clean, too.

You use the word "clean" as if any lawfully owned firearm info that comes up about you makes you "dirty".

No, I used the word clean as in no info at all. However the way that you describe "clean" sure made me look "dirty".
