You can use much longer cartridges.

I love my Spikes, but I can only reliably use cartridges that are about 6" long.

The new model is strange.......You push a button, push forward on the tube, then push the tube out sideways. Its awkward and not well thought out. I figured it was like the G36 or HK launcher where you press a release and the tube immediately opens sideways from a spring loaded mechanism.......The original is better.

keep in mind, in other states, its legal to register this thing then register 37mm grenades that you can build yourself.
this thing is much cheaper and IMO better made than a 203. in cali, all your doing is having fun launching bird crackers, flares, smoke and gas. but it is alot of fun imo.

In other states you can ream it out to 40mm and shoot REAL grenades too

I have to buy it! Its Mil-Spec!! Comeon, anything Mil-Spec is obveisouly the BEST!

PS: I have a Mil-Spec spoon for sale. Anyone want? :P It meets mil-spec qualifications! Best of the Best! jk
