    Dear @#$**),

Here is a Friendly Reminder That If You Want
to Secure a 2 Day Defensive Handgun Course for
Only $100 (regularly $1,000) You Need to Mail
Your Check Before End of Business on Friday,
    April 16.

Here is the original e-mail I sent outlining how
easy and inexpensive I am making it for you and
your family and friends to attend your first course
    at Front Sight...

    $100 Front Sight Course Offer...
    YES, it is for Real.

If you Can Follow Easy Directions YOU Can Secure
A Front Sight Course for Only $100.

    Dear Audie,

Every day I receive numerous pleas from people to provide a
more affordable opportunity to attend a Front Sight course.

College students, retired people on fixed incomes, disabled
veterans, single moms, and people with every other
imaginable situation have e-mailed or written me asking for
a more affordable opportunity to attend a course with Front
    Sight.

Well, if you can follow some very simple directions as
outlined below, you can secure a certificate to attend a
Two Day Defensive Handgun Course for ONLY $100 and use the
certificate at ANY time in the future.

This is the same Two Day Defensive Handgun Course that
normally costs $1,000, but I will make it available to you
through this very limited, Special Course Certificate Offer
    for only $100.

That's right! Only $100 but you must follow the very
    simple directions to the letter.

    Here is how it works:

    1. The Certificate is good for you to attend Front Sight's
Two Day Defensive Handgun Course at any time in the future
    and has No Expiration Date.

    2. The Certificate is transferable, but not redeemable
    for cash.

    3. Simply mail a personal check or money order in the
amount of $100 made payable to Front Sight along with a
Self Addressed, Stamped Return Envelope. Mail your check to:

    Front Sight
    P.O. Box 2619
    Aptos, CA 95001

    4. The deadline for postmark of your envelope is April, 16
2010. This means you must drop the check in the mail to us
    before 5:00pm Friday April 16, 2010.

    5. Upon receipt, we will mail you back, in the Self
Addressed Stamped Envelope you provide, a special Front
Sight Course Certificate good to attend a Two Day Defensive
Handgun Course at any time in the future with no expiration
date. If you decide at any time in the future you
cannot use it, the Certificate is fully transferable.

Again, it's very simple. Just follow the directions above.

Take advantage of the offer to get a $1,000 Two Day
Defensive Handgun Course that you can attend at any time in
    the future for ONLY $100.

Why am I doing this? As I said above, I receive requests
every day from people looking for a more affordable way to
get Front Sight's world class training so I decided to
provide you this offer, knowing I am doing what I can to help.

Note: Theres an additional fee of 50$ for background check.

The reason I asked is that they are now selling this at an individual price of 100$/ unlike before they sell it for 500$ for 4 certs. so aside from being cheaper, its also easier to buy, since its sold individually. I saw some calgunners recommending to buy from bulk buyers who sell it individually at ebay for 150$. with this amount(100) I am willing to bite the bullet bec. I read good reviews in this forum.

I don't think you have to worry - they are legit. They are just very aggressive in marketing their services. You give them your email once and Iggy sends you email all the time.

A lot of people swear by their training, though.

Most of the certificates being sold here and on Ebay are for the 4-day classes...this $100 cert is only good for the 2 day class. Just FYI.

The Front Sight business address is in Aptos, CA, as that is where Piazza lives. Nothing unusual or suspicious there.

Plus, when FrontSight started, it was in CA. I bet Piazza is a pilot. He looks like a pilot, and he no doubt can afford a small plane. Maybe he flies to work on occasion -- Pahrump has a small airport or two.

Yah, I was a member but they screwed me with that deal. I promised a couple to get them a pair of certificates so they could attend the 2 day handgun course. I had untill 10/20/09 to buy the certs called them on 10/18/09 to buy (the exact dates are off but you get the idea) and they told me they were sold out. What kind of bull**** is this? They pull out this craptastic marketing every so often when their bank account run dry to pump money in to keep the op afloat. I wound up canceling their memberships both of them. That's how they sell you their foreclosed memberships.

And if you don't shoot weaver stance boy are you going to be unhappy.
I heard this many times a day. tuck your left elbow close one eye, etc.
Granted I'm not Wild Bill Hicock but I shoot isoceles both eyes open.

All serious trainers teach isoceles, Magpul and ITTS here in socal, Blackwater now US Training Center and Xe.

The instructors can shoot well using weaver, including excellent weapon manipulations but seriously are you going tuck left elbow in, close one eye etc in a real life encounter. Both eyes will be wide open and bugging out. Just look at Magpul's art of the handgun dvd. Travis & Chris explain perfectly why.

Sorry for the long post. I wound up buying 1 4day cert here on calguns that was good for 2 new persons to attend the 2 day handgun course. It made me look bad and took almost 4 weeks instead of 1 week. THe gent paid for the certs and all but still. I didn't tell him 4 weeks.

I truly admire his unapologetic stance on gun ownership and think that's the right direction to head in.
Totally agree that we need to change the image of gun ownership from hey bubba to your neighor next door, nice calm guy, kids etc.

Everything else like marketing the ar15 as a sporting arm is just loosing our rights just more slowly.

I just don't agree with his sleazy marketing.

Honestly, you'd be better off selling those certs here or on ebay and attend ITTS handgun course here. better instruction, barricades, some of the more advanced portions (handgun 2, 3, advanced) will teach shooting in around vehicles which would simulate a real life encounter. The main instructor Scott Reitz is an LAPD swat d-platoon vet. So he knows the law, tactics, weapon manipulations and is an expert witness on lethal force. He would be our closest role model as CCW holders well not in socal but you know what I mean.

Plus their local at burro canyon $375 - $450 for a 2 day weekend course. If you take into account that you skip work Friday, pay for hotel in Pahrump (very nice people their, real down to earth Americans, none of this phony westside yuppies) travel time and gas, local training makes a lot of sense, especially for handguns. Carbine classes can be difficult due the 10 round bullet button crap.

Oh, all frontsight classes start on Friday so plan on skipping work Friday if you decide to go.

Class sizes can be up to 40+ students. That's a lot.
ITTS is highly rated here on Calguns and you can see/read after action reviews that Calguns members post.

I'm taking my first Magpul handgun 1/2 in June in Colorado with them. I've also taken frontsight's 4 day handgun course in 108 degree heat with 94 being a real cool down along with 40 mph gusts blowing sand in my face during concealed handgun presentations.

                      Hope this helps.
