    How to Carry CCW Paper?

My CCW Permit is thin paper that is an odd size that doesn't fit anything in my wallet. I have it folded about 3 times and stuck in a card slot. I don't know if it will even survive an inspection by a LEO.

What do you do to protect the darn thing?

Our sheriff says to photocopy and laminate.

Most issuing authorities say not to laminate the permit, but just about everybody I know with CCWs laminates theirs. You could look into that. I think kinkos or staples or something should have a laminating machine you can use.

Fold in half; laminate - you may have to trim the laminate corners to get it to fit in your wallet. That's about all you can do.

I guess I'll make a copy, trim it what I can and laminate. That way I'll still have the original and if the laminate doesn't fly I can go back to it.

          Thanks for your input.

Careful about photocopying. Sometimes the ORIGINAL permit is what you have to carry (to make LEOs happy).

In all cases, QBG has reflected what most do: fold it in half, laminate, and cut to fit.

I just folded it up and stuck it in my wallet. Its held up for over a year now. I still haven't needed to take it out.

Go find a old rollodex and get one of those plastic business card holders. You can slide your CCW in and tape the openings. If a LEO wants to inspect it then just cut or take off the tape

Folded in half and laminated is too big. I hated it. I updated my address and I now have it under my DL folded in half twice. Staying together just fine.

I folded mine in half and then laminated. I trimmed the edges so it'd fit a credit card slot in my wallet. Definetly not the credit card style permits everyone else gets.
